On January 13, 2006 Yvonne’s husband for more than 20 years was diagnosed with cancer. At the time they had two sons, ages 13 and  11 years old. He had given our youngest son his middle name “Immanuel” for a divine purpose.  They had a unique bond like no other. We prayed and fasted for his healing but God had a different plan. On August 8, 2006 God open the windows of heaven and showed Yvonne, her husband for 20 years and loving father entering the gates of heaven and receiving his crown.

 

On August 14, 2006 he went to be with the Lord. Our sons were devastated. They had no idea how to live without a loving and caring father who had taught them how to play soccer, football, basketball, chess, and home and yard care. They felt as though everyone around them had fathers and they had no idea how to live without a father. But I knew, “Immanuel-God is with Us.”

 

On January 13, 2007 exactly one year from the date of Yvonne’s husband and their father being diagnosed with cancer, God gave Yvonne an Uncommon Divine-Purpose Filled Dream. The dream was as vivid and clear as what we would call today a HDTV experience of developing real estate properties and revitalizing communities, which is Yvonne’s passion.  Yvonne immediately woke up and began writing the vision. After much prayer and consulting, Yvonne was led to write the vision and make it plain as Habakkuk 2:2-3 says,” Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time.” But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

 

On May 26, 2007 IMMANUEL was incorporated and a legacy was born to empower and develop others to revitalize communities, create wealth and support the kingdom of God.
